Glen Affric, running inland from the village of Cannich, is renowned as possibly the most beautiful glen in Scotland. Its lower reaches are magnificently wooded with fine Scots pines; its middle section around Loch Affric is towered over by great mountains whilst its upper end is bare, wild and remote.
